NSCwebcast to broadcast two USA Women's Select Team games

The National Sports Center (NSC) and USA Hockey announced that NSCwebcast, the NSC’s webcasting department, will provide live internet broadcasts of two U.S. Women’s Select Hockey Team games in December. The U.S. Team will play Ohio State at 10:00 am on Sunday, December 14 and then face off against the Minnesota Whitecaps at 7:00 pm on Friday, December 19.

Both games will be played on rink #5 at the Schwan Super Rink.

Jeff Huffman and Joe Moore will share the play-by-play duties. Craig Roberts will provide color commentary for both games.

The games may be viewed by logging on to www.nscwebcast.tv. There is a $6.95 charge for each game.

The U.S. Women’s Select Hockey Team has been training at the Schwan Super Rink since September 8, utilizing the eight-sheet ice arena for on-ice practices and the strength and conditioning facilities of the Herb Brooks Training Center at the Super Rink. The team recently moved into a new locker room at the facility.

Champlin Rebels SC partners with NSC for sports hall turf purchase

Two weeks ago the NSC installed a recognition logo for Champlin Rebels SC on the very first pillar as you walk into the NSC Sports Hall. Why?  Champlin is NSC's first sports hall partner. The Rebels are helping with the initial purchase of the turf by making a cash up-front payment. In return, NSC has granted them priority rights to sports hall pricing and picking time. They get to pick their hours before any other renter because they helped make the turf possible. Thanks Champlin for helping get the turf. It is a great new addition to the NSC. We invite other groups to consider elevating their status to partner which will give that group rights to time in the sports hall and special pricing in a long term contract.

Schwan's USA CUP Website has added Live Help

Schwan's USA CUP has added a "live help" option to the website. This is exciting because so many people use the website for information now, bypassing the telephone, and this option will allow us to answer many questions for you quickly if you simply click on the live help icon, which will take you to a live person who can easily answer questions for you.

This option will be available during most business hours, but you could might catch us available at night and on the weekends too. Just check for the "online" tag in the icon and we're there waiting for you! If you see "offline" you can send an email and we'll reply as soon as possible.

It is so nice to be able to offer our customers another option to contact us for answers.
